A grand, ceremonial concert “The World of Master Beksiński” on the twentieth anniversary of the Artist’s death.

The artistic event “The World of Master Beksiński” is a unique proposition for recipients of music and painting of the highest caliber.

This time, this unusual event will have an exceptionally ceremonial character, because it will take place exactly on the twentieth anniversary of the Artist’s death. On this occasion, the organizer of the event, the Historical Museum in Sanok, in cooperation with the Beksiński Foundation, invite you to the G2 Arena in Jasionka near Rzeszów for a ceremonial concert The World of Master Beksiński combined with an exhibition of paintings (foyer of the G2 Arena), which this time will be available to lovers of the Master’s art throughout the weekend. On the day of the concert, February 21, for concert ticket holders, the exhibition will be available from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, February 22 and 23, from 12:00 to 20:00 (last entry 19:00), the exhibition will be available to other visitors, and a ticket for the exhibition itself on the weekend can be purchased on site at the box office for PLN 30/person.

This time, the exhibition accompanying the concert and lasting three days will be exceptionally extensive. In addition to about 30 specially selected paintings by Beksiński, it will be possible to participate in various activities, including: meetings with the Artist’s friends, screenings of documentary films, as well as numerous multimedia attractions such as 3D screenings of paintings.

Zdzisław Beksiński created his paintings in constant contact with music. Among the composers he most frequently mentioned was Alfred Schnittke. Hence the idea of ​​showing Beksiński’s paintings in integral connection with music, which allows the viewer to experience exceptional and unforgettable emotions.
